Mazda CX-3: Owner Maintenance / Engine Compartment Overview

Check under the hood area to make
certain all filler caps are in place and
all loose items (e.g. tools, oil
containers, etc.) have been removed...
NOTE
Changing the engine oil should be
performed by an Authorized Mazda
Dealer.
Refer to Introduction for
owner's responsibility in protecting your
investment...
Other information:
Accident statistics reveal that a child is
safer in the rear seat. The front passenger's
seat is clearly the worst choice for any
child under 12, and with rear-facing
child-restraint systems it is clearly unsafe
due to air bags.
NOTE
Even if your vehicle is equipped with front
passenger occupant classification sensor, which automatically
deactivates the front passenger air bag, a
rear seat is the safest place for a child of
any age or size...
WARNING
Do not drive your vehicle if you smell exhaust gas inside the
vehicle:
Engine exhaust gas is dangerous. This gas contains carbon monoxide
(CO), which is colorless,
odorless, and poisonous. When inhaled, it can cause loss of consciousness and
death...

Changing lanes without taking into
